Well, Colorado has been good to us so far. We have got to spend more time as a family with Phil not having to be underway for weeks at a time and we have taken up some new hobbies. Almost every Sunday we all go rollerskating together at SkateCity where they have a session that is free to all military! Even the twins are skating on their own (although it is more like walking in wheels) and refuse to have mommy and daddy help.
Alexandra starts soccer at the end of the month and next month will resume Karate. She is being an excellent sport about having to start over at white belt (having previously been a blue belt) since this is a new style of karate. Her 6 weeks of Sciece Club just ended and she made crystals, performed the "naked egg" experiment, and several other fun things. She continues to attend math club every Wednesday morning.

Charlotte and the twins continue with gymnastics and Charlie is working on doing a kickover from a backbend so that she can move up to the next level. Corinne and Georgia each have different strengths and if you combined them they would be a rockstar little-gymnast :) Charlie will play softball starting April with the 6-8 year olds and I cannot wait to be the mom cheering her in the stands while DADDY coaches.
Phil has been enjoying teaching but I think that the environment is not as challenging as he would like. He has said that he wishes that he had the hours that he has here with the responsibility of the ship. I got to attend the math department "spouse day" and check out the Academy for myself.
I have been keeping things going around here, chauffering to gymnastics, the library, and million other places we go.
I would like to start a program at the local Y for girls in the community to get active (running etc) and am planning to discuss this with the woman in charge of youth programming at the Briargate YMCA. I have been doing more with TRX/Kettlebells trying to tone up more.
his morning we transferred our membership to FUMC Colorado Springs. This was a very big decision for us since we have never gone to a church so long but it really feels like the right decision. Although it is further from our house than the other contender we felt that they had more opportunities for the kids and just an amazing church family. I think that I may be volunteering to lead music for the sunday school kids before they begin their sunday school activities. We also plan to work with the habitat for humanity build and some other projects.
I love it! Thanks for including us. Love you guys, and miss you
